all about the veneer

Decospan is a leading European wood veneer company that has been around for over forty years. To support their recent brand repositioning, we were tasked to develop a new logo and create a new look and feel that they can develop further. Our visual and creative approach focused on contemporizing the brand and leveraging the product itself. We echoed the veneer in the "D" and allowed the uniqueness of the name to take precedence. Being that Decospan's logo is often seen with their partner brands and their respective logos, a sophisticated and minimalist logo is very appropriate. In addition, we utilized their product to be a source of background textures and inspiration for the graphic wood grain pattern.
